At Lek Mer Kayak & SUP, we strive to create unforgettable experiences on the water, where every paddling trip is an opportunity to discover the city’s beauty and develop. We believe in promoting a sustainable and safe paddling culture, where respect for the environment and each other is at the center.
Each season, we are around 15 people working together with our rentals, courses, and guided tours.
Safety, Knowledge & Joy

No previous kayaking experience? No problem – we value your attitude and willingness to learn above all else.

Dock Host
As a Dock Host at Lek Mer Kayak & SUP, you are the face of our business and play a central role in creating a positive experience for our customers. Your main duties include:
- Welcoming and assisting customers with kayak and SUP rentals.
- Managing bookings and payments.
- Providing safety instructions and tips for a safe paddling experience.
- Ensuring all equipment is in good condition and ready for use.
- Assisting customers with preparations and equipment during launching and return.
We are looking for a service-oriented person who has an interest in water sports and enjoys working outdoors. Previous experience in customer service or sea kayaking Sweden is a plus but not a requirement. Join us and help make paddling accessible and joyful for everyone!

Instructor & Guide
As an instructor with us, you are responsible for educating and inspiring both new and experienced paddlers. We follow the standards of the Swedish Canoe Federation. To work as an instructor here, you must be certified by the Swedish Canoe Federation and have completed at least Sea Kayak Leader 1.
For the 2025 season, there are opportunities to work with:
- Evening courses at white and green levels within the Paddle Pass system.
- Corporate paddling events
- Overnight tours
- Kayak Roll courses
- Safety and rescue courses
- SUP courses
We are looking for a service-oriented individual who has a passion for outdoor life and enjoys working in nature. You should have a keen eye for safety and feel confident leading a group through the granite skerries of Bohuslän. Join us and help make sea kayaking Sweden accessible and joyful for everyone!
