In our kayak rescue course, you will learn essential techniques for dealing with emergencies on the water. Covering both self-rescue and peer rescue, the course will give you the skills you need to feel safe and confident when paddling.
Under the guidance of our instructor, you will receive practical training and valuable insights to help you become a more confident paddler. Whether paddling alone or with others, these skills are invaluable to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience on the water
Course objectives
After completing the course, you will have filled your toolbox with several different variants of peer rescue & self-rescue.
You have also built a sense of security in the kayak and feel that flipping over in a kayak is a piece of cake.
What do I need to bring with me?
- Change of clothes
- Clothing for swimming, e.g. wetsuit, drysuit or wool baselayer and shell clothing
- Towel
Prerequisites
To be able to take advantage of the course in the best way, knowledge equivalent to at least a yellow paddle pass is recommended.
