Intermediate Course, Full Day –
(Green Paddle Award Kayak)
THE SEA KAYAKING COURSE FOR THOSE READY TO EARN THE GREEN PADDLE AWARD IN ONE DAY
This is the course for you who already have the basics in place and want to take the next step in your paddling technique, but find it difficult to book several evenings in a row. During an efficient and educational full day, we head out from Pampas Marina into Stockholm’s waters for a longer tour to practice technique, safety, and navigation in real-world conditions.
Instead of staying by the dock, we learn “on the go.” We utilize the city’s varied environments—from sheltered canals to open bays—to provide you with the tools required to become a safe and independent paddler.
Course Schedule We start at 09:00 and return around 16:00. The day alternates between paddling and instructor-led technique sessions. We will stop at a suitable location to enjoy our packed lunches.
Course Objectives
Upon completion of the course, you will have sufficient knowledge to plan your own tours through the granite skerries.
Green Paddle Award
In our intermediate course, you will learn everything needed to earn your Green Paddle Award. We also include what we consider essential skills to ensure you are as safe a paddler as possible! The examination can be completed with us after the course and is booked upon request.

Prerequisites
Knowledge equivalent to our basic course is recommended. The age limit is 18 years, but participants aged 16 can join with parental consent.
