Eden or Pampas – which location should I choose?

LEK MER has two central kayak and SUP locations in Stockholm city: Eden on Kungsholmen and Pampas in Pampas Marina, Solna. Both are good choices, but they suit slightly different paddling plans.

Best for	Kungsholmen, Långholmen, Reimersholme and Årstaviken	Karlberg Canal, Lillsjön, Bällstaån and Kungsholmen
Location	Smedsudden, under Västerbron on Kungsholmen. Near rålamnshovsparken	Pampas Marina, Dock A in Solna
Public transport	Fridhemsplan, Thorildsplan or Hornstull + walk Or buss to Västerbroplan	Västra Skogen + walk down to the marina
Car access	Parking is usually easiest near the National Archives/Fyrverkarbacken	Convenient guest parking in Pampas Marina
Feeling	Very central, close to beaches and classic city routes	Marina setting with easy launch and good access by car

Choose Eden if…

You want to paddle around Kungsholmen, Långholmen or Reimersholme.
You are staying in central Stockholm and want a classic city-water experience.
You want to combine paddling with Smedsuddsbadet, Rålambshovsparken or nearby restaurants.

 Verified very friendly staff, very good equipment. great local knowledge from the guides, even gave restaurant recommendations after our tour. overall lovely experience kayaking round Stockholm. beautiful area to see from the water with lovely views! also very cute dogs!

Refreshing to find such a great business!! Emil was awesome, communication was perfect, gear was quality. This review is for a 4hr solo sea kayak rental not tour.. 100% out of season too. Emil agreed to take the booking, like a champion, and I had a wonderful day. Paddled 7 mi (11.5 km) in about 3 hrs circling the islands of Kungsholmen and Reimersholme, including down to Old Town for all the tourist sights! Note: I used to guide and have a lot of experience. Emil even brought a few extra items for my comfort (cold in Oct, and the wind picks up). All in all, if you’re searching for your own adventure.. this place is for you!! 10/10!

Wir haben die empfohlene Runde um die zwei Inseln gemacht. Die hat super Spaß gemacht und Lust auf mehr! Der Verleih hat super geklappt. Der Ausgangspunkt und Standort des Verleihs hatte uns neugierig gemacht und war gut mit dem Nahverkehr zu erreichen. Wir würden jederzeit noch mal von hier aus starten.

We had a great experience at Eden Kayak & SUP. My grown daughter and I shared a double kayak and made it around the Kungsholmen loop in exactly 2 hours. Our kayak was in good working order and the weather was mostly cloudy. A perfect day for exercising our arms and core without overheating.. The guide was helpful (told us which direction we should go depending on the wind) and courteous, preparing us ahead of our trip and assisting us out of the boat at the end.

You arrive by car and want simple parking.
You want easy access to Karlbergskanalen, Lillsjön or Bällstaån.
